Have you got the squats? No, it's just the cut of these trousers.

Blimey, nearly a month without a post, I'd better rectify that, so have some squats:

I've not been able to get much done recently due to my spine recently deciding it didn't want to be a spine anymore, so I couldn't actually sit at my work desk and paint without it going into spasm and hurting a lot. I've just about managed to get back and able to do some painting in short sessions, so here's some of my Squat Void pirates.

More pics after the cut, if hairy midgets interest you...

They're for an upcoming Inquisimunda campaign we're playing over at Warhammer World. Inquisimunda is basically a fan-made mashup of 28mm Inquisitor, played with Necromunda rules for speed and convenience, so it's out and about in the 40k Universe, rather than in the depths of the Hiveworlds.

My gang, though nominally listed as Void Pirates, are actually part of the Jamakeer Mining Corporation, my squat force (which you've already met *HERE*), and form an advance Prospecting Team. Whilst ostensibly a mining company, they're not averse to a bit of exploration and exploitation of non-mineral resources.

This guy is the Head Prospector, and leader of the mssion, shown here with his scanner and handy plasma pistol:

Next up is the Bosun, who suffered horrific injuries during a deep space accident, and now permanently wears a metal face mask with added bionic enhancements, as well as a heavy duty bionic arm:

Next up is a specialist sniper, as some of the worlds that the prospecting team visits are less than hospitable. Not to mention that some of the inhabitants may not actually want their resources exploiting...

And finally, a harmless old bloke:

or maybe he's not so harmless after all...

Still need to get another few more finished up asap, as I need to get them ready to game for wednesday this week!
