OK, here's a big one as my first return to blogging after about 18 months or so!
As I'm sure you're all aware, it's the Citadel DRAG5 Great Imperial Dragon, also known as Mordax, a Chaos cursed dragon that can never die, and also the mother of Kegox, the Chaos Dragon.

Anyway, back to the paintjob. It was a commission job, and as it's going to be a display piece not a gaming model, I did the base as their cave lair, complete with (3d printed) stalagmites and treasure. I was really pleased with how they came out, and it shows how model printed elements can really add to a classic miniature without looking out of place. The dragon itself was an absolute joy to paint, full of little details and plenty of texture. Pinning it, however, was more of a pain, those big, metal wings really don't like being at that angle.
